Recap of Our Skater Outreach
Hey Friends of Koinonia,
We asked you to cover us in prayer, and God absolutely answered. Here is how your prayers paved the way for lives to be changed last week...
About 30 skaters attended our outreach this past Sunday. There were also several people that happened to be hanging around that joined into the fun. Luis Rabanal shared the message of the gospel with the people. Most were very attentive. One guy said, “Wow, it was great to hear you guys talk about God. I didn’t even know that there were people in this community (skating community) that believed in God. Even after the official gospel presentation was finished many conversations about the Lord took place as everyone shared pizza.
All in all God was glorified and now we will see what God continues to do with these people. Keep prayin!
Here are a few more things to keep in prayer:
I am teaching a soteriology (doctrine of salvation) class for the church. We started last night. Many of those that are attending are new Christians and so it’s important that they understand what salvation is what it isn’t.
This Saturday (the 18th) we will be having en Eco event. God speaks, we respond and the message brings hope to the city. This will be a night of worship and prayer but we are also inviting people that don’t know Jesus to attend.
We are the Vander Kodde family and we are helping people to get to know and love Jesus in South America

Thank you for sharing this, brother. I really enjoyed reading it, and it was a great encouragement to my heart. It reminded me once again that our hope is never found in our circumstances but in the unchanging faithfulness of God. Romans 15:13 says, Now the God of hope fill you with all joy and peace in believing, that ye may abound in hope, through the power of the Holy Ghost. No matter what we face, the Lord is always with us, strengthening and guiding us each step of the way. Lamentations 3:22-23 reminds us that His mercies are new every morning and that great is His faithfulness. I also love Hebrews 10:23, Let us hold fast the profession of our faith without wavering; for he is faithful that promised. Thank you for faithfully pointing people to Christ, our living hope. May the Lord continue to bless your ministry, encourage many hearts through your writing, and use you mightily for His glory. God bless you, brother.
